Hakan Çalhanoğlu is a Turkish professional footballer who currently plays as a forward for Inter Milan and the Turkey national team. He was born on November 24, 1996, in Antalya, Turkey. Çalhanoğlu began his career at the age of six with the youth academy of his hometown club, Antalyaspor. He made his senior debut in 2015 and quickly established himself as one of the most promising young talents in Europe. In 2017, he joined Atletico Madrid from Antalyaspor for a reported transfer fee of €10 million.
